And so it begins....

I guess if I'm going to do this thing right, I best let on as to a bit about me for those that just wander in and wonder about the insanity that is mine. My name is Keith and I am the second son of Ed and Elly John. I was born November 1959. My parents were students at BYU (Provo, UT). My first memories are of life in Alberquerque, NM. Memoeries of early life include Tree climing, Fence climbing, Dog chasing, Bee stings, Tub falls and their related stitches and a variety of other normal childhood memories. I received my first schooling at my mothers side, my understanding is that kindergarden classes were only available through private schools. Since my parents could not afford private schooling, mom decided to school us older boys at home. I really don't remember much specificaly as to the curriculum mom. I do remember one day we made pinwheels, but mostly there was reading and drawing. First grade was at the public school, McCullam Elementary. Ms. Couch was my teacher. When I was six my dad, who had been working for the USGS, was hired by Kennecott Copper to work at the Bingham Mine outside of Salt Lake City, Utah. We moved up that summer, first living with my Grandparents (Barlow) on sixth south and eleventh east (across from Judge Memorial High School. Mom and Dad found a house in the South end of the valley, this was to be the house I and my siblings grew up in. I attended second and third grade at Bella Vista Elementary, Ms. Diamond and Ms. Glen my teachers respectively. Fourth thru sixth grade was at Butler Elementary. Ms Whadups, Ms. Coffee and Mr. Nichols. I went to Jr High at Butler Jr. and High school at Brighton. Spent my summers in Marching Band playing the Saxaphone until I transfered out and ended up in the DECA club at Brighton. With DECA I went to the National Convention twice First to Chicago my junior year and then to Anahiem Calif my senior year. I received an honorable mention in Anahiem.

There must be a first for all things

I'm not to sure about this but I was writing an email to the twins , you know them they are the ones that are ahead of the game for all of us in this field. Not handicapped by being raised in the slide rule age. I will be working on further postings, I just wanted to get something started.
Love to all
